Play like that everything left on the pitch

Realise the stakes were unbelievable tonight and last night for liverpool and spurs

but just once more in my time watching the Owls I'd die a happy man to see that 100% commitment to go forward at pace muck or nettles

watching us get such a result would kill me off .. but what a way to go

Not just saying this but watching the Ajax v Spurs game I was thinking the same

Would love to watch us play the high tempo style of football

We can dream....

Watching that..and people moan about Nuhiu. Chapman, although scored a few, was a cart horse.

Paul Walsh should have had a penalty, awful tackle.  Football was terrible

Some good olds songs though..sing your hearts out for the lads, The Wednesday

Chapman scored 79 in 186 appearances in the top league with Wednesday, a pretty effective carthorse

"Hello, is this Nuhiu? This is 1984 calling, we're looking for a carthorse and think you'll be the perfect fit!"

That's why the 83/84 promotion season was my favourite, because we did have that attitude.

Chapman was 10x the player Nuhiu is. He actually played in a side that won the the old 1st Division and scored goals for fun.

It's like comparing Red Rum to a Blackpool Donkey.

Didn't we come up in second place in 83-84, whilst Chapman was playing for Sunderland?

I remember watching Chapman from 84-85 onwards as a nipper.
