His kids, his own apparent allegiance should he have been pushed out of S6 are just two reasons. Now if a different top flight club came in for him, his head may be turned, not least for the money as he's only maybe got 3 to 4 seasons on top of his game now and, well I know i'd be thinking of my kids future in that situation. I do however think he was given a specific task, one that has now been put to one side. That task was clearly to clear out the high earners and bring through some low earning youth. That plan failed, the only way forward was to get rid of the man tasked with that, and then give the fans what they wanted - the best available English manager. That was Bruce. I will never believe Jos did not believe in players like Hutchinson and Westwood, because it would take a very stupid person to not play them when fit and available otherwise for us.
