I would love for us to keep Hector too as he's been immense this season and the one good thing from jos reighn. So I don't disagree with you bud.

Our problem will be the parachute payment teams and maybe one or two of the promoted teams wanting Hector.

That very likely start a bidding war, not just on the transfer fee but wages as well and we all know how it works with the financial un-fair play rules and parachute payments.

Even if he wanted to be back here, it would still come down to us being able to stump the cash up?.

Hence we may have to look for a much cheaper short term replacement.

Fingers crossed SB can get Hector back then ?

Theres not a lot of "him" about ..

£100k/ week over 2 seasons £10million?

How much would a similar player cost?

Hector £5-8 fee million plus wages?

Not happening but would make more sense than many of our recent signings?

Some of our managers have collected lots of good/average/poor players for lower fees/wages.

Surely better to buy proven quality?

Cahill is over paid. for the £100k a week for one season you would waste on him.

You can sign Hector £2m, Venancio £1m and pay their wages and at the end of the season have two players who will be worth more than you paid for them.

The reason we are losing £15-20m a season is because we have too many past it players who cannot play 80%+ of the season.

Its a massive no from me - I hope he ends up at the lane then there £200m windfall will be down to £190m for his two years of watching from the stands

Cahill is the older equivalent of Lees ..

He is a centre back who requires a leader to lead him ...

The same reason that Man Utd are struggling (no leader)

And Man City will strive to replace Kompany in the near future ..

Leading Centre Backs are the "Hens teeth" in football ..

Micheal Hector is our "Hens tooth" along with Westwood

They would be probably our greatest signings if we can pull it off?

Hector even with a fee will more than likely be far cheaper than what Cahill  would demand in wages ?

What's he on 100 grand a week ?

1 premier league game

3 EFL cup games

4 Europa League games

This seasons appearances .......

Chelsea captain? He already is a leader.

33 no age for a centre back

will bag a few goals.

Zero chance of him coming......move on

No he's not a leader never been a leader

If he is.. he leads from the stands ?

He's not playing enough games to be a leader

One thing you are right though

He won't be coming to us

We can't afford him

Dont rate him anyway he's not good enough .......
