Great charity support again from Wednesday fans, but I am surprised SYP haven't put a stop to the flyover bragging about their promotion,

as it is obviously an act of enticement.

What are we gonna do, fight with a plane?

get it stopped

"Stealth an' safety"???

We could simply use it as an incentive to propellers to  the Prem next season

Interesting this we all love the rivalry of being a two team city and of course they want to enjoy their time in the bright lights of the PL.

However it does seems that for some of them the bitterness of being in our shadow overtakes any sense of euphoria and they feel the need to resort to at childish actions.

James Lindsay on the other hand instead of engaging in petty *** for tat repostes, creates a positive that will help to  benefit many fellow Sheffielders, owls and Blades alike. Well done Sir.

Not sure how much the blades have raised for this stunt, but could be a good idea if they cancelled and donated to another charity like the Childrens Hospital etc.

That's the Blunts small club mentality for you mate.

Put simply, SWFC are older, bigger, and better.

All the club need to do is organise a big f.ook off banner that states

"Pigs CAN fly"

Would stop it in its tracks..................never happen though..Fire certificates etc

What better excuse do we need to repaint the Presto stand lol

We pay more in a month to our play than United pay ina year. Their players have played as a team all season. Half of our players haven't tried an inch until there was nothing to play for.

If United are rubbing salt in our wounds then its no more than we deserve.

In fact. We supplied the salt.

Most of out players have been an absolute disgrace all season.

Except they're not rubbing salt into our wounds; they're just making themselves look like prize twonks, as per usual.

Even when they've performed demonstrably better than us and have achieved the prize they've been chasing all season, their myopic obsession with Wednesday rears its ugly head and causes them to arrange things like a crap Steve Bruce impersonator and an aeroplane to fly a banner over our ground rather than simply celebrating their own success.

Come on fella, lighten up, its a wee wee take at our expense, it's to be expected, just give it a wave and smile as it flies by, what goes around comes around.

Agreed, but can we use the spare cash to get an anti-aircraft battery in place for Saturday? lol

"They wouldn't have done this if it wasn't for our fly past - So well done Sheff Utd"

A response I saw from one of their fans :ghoulguy:

This will no doubt make it into their revisionist history shortly.

"On promotion we raised over 5k for St Luke's Hospice!"
