Could backfire

I can’t see him listening to the fans based on track record.

First Westwood, now Hector.

Can we stop with these rumours?

They're blatantly pig windups.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I've heard they're signing Abdi, Mathias and Pudil all on 3 year, 40k a week contracts.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news.

Let’s make Mr C’s mind up for him (I am assuming he’ll be at the game on Sunday) regarding the signing of Michael Hector. We all know that Mr C is swayed by the fans, so let’s have a good full two minutes of the “Sign him up! Sign him up! Sign him up!” song when Hector accepts his SWFC Official POTY award before kickoff and let’s sing it whenever he does something brilliant during the match (which is typically every 5 minutes).

Yes, FFP, P&S and all that other stuff but let’s just go and get Hector somehow. He’s the fvvcking business!!!

Steve Bruce is no idiot. If we don’t sign Hector then other forces are at play. Can’t see us signing him on Saturday though my fellow Jedi’s.

How about we sing the following.

"Sign him up, sign him up, sign him up, as long as financial fair play allows, or that we are not under an embargo, but if we are, if it is within the allowed salary cap, and if we can agree a fee with Chelsea, and if he wants to sign and is willing to take a pay cut and doesn't accept an offer an elsewhere, and if Bruce wants him enough to potentially use a big chunk of his budget on him, Sign him up."

Got quite a ring about it don't you think?

Not sure how many times it has been said, or needs to be said again.

Hector is heading in to the final year of his contract at Chelsea therefore he won't go out on loan again. He will be sold to the highest bidder, which given our P&S position is highly unlikely to be us.

The Scum are wanting him. Just to rub our noses in it even more.

Where have you heard this? I have been saying for weeks that Wilder will come in for him should they go up he's just that kind of bloke and they are just that kind of club...

Not a pig windup I can assure you, as unfortunate as that is.

There's no way to know that though. Even if the news came straight from the horse's mouth, Wilder himself, that he was interested in signing Hector or Westwood, there's every likelihood that he was still only saying it to wind up Wednesdayites.

Few media outlets reporting hecs on utds radar. Chelsea want around £5m apparently. We've no chance.

A prem club will come in. Or a parachute club.

That's the problem with premiership loanees winning player of the year.

I think he will remain a footballer not work at a parachute club.
