Going to Preston but I'll try and follow the updates on here, thanks for letting us know about the game.

Out of town on Saturday John, but I will be willing the lads on from a distance. Not caught as many u18 games this year due to work, but I would be interested in your thoughts about Rice and Grant. Both players have been stand outs when I have seen them, but as someone who watches the guys regularly, your assessment of them, or indeed others in the squad, would be good to hear.

As an aside, I am sure I speak for many on here who are grateful for the updates you and Ethel have provided all season in respect of the team. Thanks very much, greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the kind words Ken, Ethel provides excellent updates and i give it the budget no frills updates. Rice has been excellent this season (as have all the boys) solid assured performances at the back and reads the game very well. Conor Grant is so assured on the ball he waltzes through the midfield with his quick feet and has terrific vision of through balls but he’s assisted with two tremendous prospects Waldock and Shaw.

Yeah - at Hillsborough 11am.

Pity it's Saturday though.

I kept checking the SWFC site and finally the details are up. Didn't think we were wanted!

Admission is £3 adults, £2 concessions and free for Season Ticket holders.

With it being free to season ticket holders and the young players having such a good season, I really hope a big crowd turn up for the game think the young lads deserve it.

Might even be some Ipswich supporters there as their first team are in town.

Saturday 11am Kick off. Try and get along and support the boys in this playoff to reach the final against Leeds (boo) or hopefully Cardiff.

The support that came along last Saturday to watch the boys was superb and you guys turned the Utd Academy blue and white. Im sure the swill heads are still spewing. There may be a small fee to get in (£3 adults, £1 kids) im not sure yet.

Do you why Eyad Hammoud is on trial with Preston u18s? Played against Blackpool other day.

I thought he was one to watch?

Have we released/not offering a contract?

Didn't know about this ?!

Possibly not rated as highly as our other two U-23 strikers, Borukov and Demba.

Hadn’t heard this either. He was on fire earlier in the season, but has dropped off a bit recently
