We were battered but to come away with a point was seen as some sort of achievement. How far we have come since those dark days. Given the disagreements between Championship clubs and the EFL, I'm hoping they'll take a more lenient stance. Either they'll get rid of parachute payments or they'll give us below a little more leeway. The current model isn't sustainable in the long run at all. No one really knows what's going on. The whole system seems completely arbitrary in terms of punishments. Just have to wait and see. Interestingly, Bristol City were one of those supporting Steve Gibsons efforts to have us, Derby and Villa investigated. That may well intensify after today's results... Whole system is a sham.
