Tom Thumb
First of all, enjoyed it tonight. Secondly its been so long since Hooper has been around the side I had forgotten what a truly brilliant footballer he is. Such a shame he’s always injured 2
FreshOwl
Thought exactly the game His first touch and movement is ridiculous. A pleasure to watch in that second half And now we know why we’ve never had options from throw-ins, because hooperman has been out! fpowl
The boy is absolute class anyone who isn’t interested about football can tell how good he is that touch to control before Matias second goal and the ball through to Boyd everyone of his touches is class class he keeps the ball so well and opens teams up can you imagine if we had pace down each wing and hooper opening those gaps great to see Lazaar back can’t wait to see Aaron’s back and bannan so we can get reach back out wide i think Bruce is going to make us real contenders next year we need to keep hooper our best player by a country mile and we have good players 1

Aarons on a season long loan plus a few shrewd additions We’d challenge the top
Kevan
Hooper's ball retention is far and away better than any other forward in the club.
Herb
He’s a top striker at this level. Would love us to keep him if the deal suits us.
McRightSide
And yet people still think pay as you play is appealing to him...
TodwickOwl
Absolutely immense Knows what ball to play before it’s even at his feet Immense when watching him in comparison to Matias, Joao etc who just bumble around on the ball
WalthamOwl
Imagine if he had been fit all season. Such a clever player. It’s going to be a very tough decision at the end of the season on his future. Edited April 9, 2019 by WalthamOwl
SiJ
He's already one or two steps ahead of the opposition. He's a joy to watch. So torn on whether we could/should keep hold. If you could somehow guarantee his match fitness it would be a no brainer. Bruce clearly rates him very highly.
Bouncing Owl
Clearly not match fit but his play over the last 2 games given he’s been out for nearly 18 months is quite outrageous. What a supremely gifted footballer!
SquirrelSlingshot
I like Hooper but reading the comments here you'd think he's bloody Marco van Basten Thought we faded as an attacking force when he replaced Fletcher tbh

stocksyuto
I'm not Interested in taking risks with injury prone players anymore we need quality players who can play out a full season ...but I'd take a risk with Hooper we kno hes going to get injured but hes just class in the games he actually plays

Gave the ball away a few times under very little pressure. Not saying he's a bad player, just surprised that there's a thread praising his contribution when he was pretty average at best in his cameo? trevdi9
Hooper is one of those few players who's class will show through even if he loses a yard worth another chance I feel , we won't regret if his injuries are over
