They have been our best two strikers so yes excited to see how they do together.

Which Joao plays tonight? The electric one or the Kevin & Perry one?

Hopefully the £8m one

Apparently Forest's keeper is making his debut. Well we know how this is going to go...

Edit - his league debut anyway. Just looked, he's played 5 cup games for them and never kept a clean sheet.

.

It's Luke Steele, experienced goalkeeper used to play for Barnsley at this level, not a rookie.

Think Jaoa plays better off a target man rather than him needing to be the target man.

I genuinely can’t remember them playing much together - you’re usually man with the striker pairing stats. How many games have they started together?

I know who it is. He's still making his league debut for Forest after being backup all season, therefore will have a blinder.

Evening all.

Interesting lineup for sure.

Will be a tough ask without Bazza and Hutchinson at the heart of the team.

Still plenty of quality players out there.

Our defence is pretty solid, Joao and Fletch up top will now doubt cause them problems.

COme on lads, lets get a win tonight.

2-1 to the Wednesday.

Dunno but I do recall a few times. Not many.

In the two games I remember Fletch Wilson a flick on, looked around expectingbto see Lucas chasing it, realised he was nowhere to be seen, so set off to chase his own flick on!!

If Hooper wasnt just coming back he would be an option.

FF isnt fully fit either

Hooper and FF looked good on paper v Stoke but it didnt work

Is this the first time that all of our huge collection of strikers have been fit? I can't remember another.

Ok, not a great line up by any means, but in matias and Joao have introduced some pace. Now, whether they can be arsed or positively affect the game is another matter.

We've not lost yet,  florest are hardly world beaters.

Very very strange

Matias shouldn’t be anywhere near, in fact he should be at home

Forest haven’t won sway since November - gone from seeing positive to just not bothered now

What other options were there in midfield realistically?

Looking at the positives, I think Fletch up top with João roaming behind could be a good combo. Although it could well be Matias just behind with João out wide. Interesting lineup nonetheless.

Bannan and Hutch both missing from the line up is a massive pain in the ar$e.
