ozzieowl
Made a difference when came on. What it needed from start really. Was great to see GH n FF back but against Batth n Shawcross didn’t get a look in in the air. Nuhiu gave them something to think about and won some headers. Plus flattened Batth which was funny. Tbf he got more involved in the game n we had better possession in short time he was on. Could been totally different outcome if he had started. well done big lad

debram
I thought nuhiu should have started in the absence of fletch with hooper given a run last 20, I wouldn't have brought on boyd and he could have scored the winner so maybe dont listen to me
SquirrelSlingshot
With Fletcher injured and Joao unavailable, he absolutely should have started. The problem with Forestieri/Hooper is that there's no pragmatism in the team (especially with Aarons injured). No pace, and no ability to challenge for aerial balls. The only thing Wednesday can do in this situation is play though midfield, but the midfield just isn't good enough to play that way (no box-to-box midfielder, too few players get forward and our off the ball movement in general is pretty average). Wednesday have to have a more pragmatic option on the pitch, pretty much at all times. It wasn't a surprise that we caused Stoke so few problems today based on the starting lineup. upperwinngardensowl
I am one of his biggest fans on here and again he made a difference, a positive one, when he came on. unfortunately he rarely does it when he starts for some reason.

SallyCinnamon
Atdhe always looks decent off the bench. Absolutely shocking when he starts.

His huge frame can’t cope with the intensity of the championship for a full 90 so naturally he conserves energy. What a terrific guy and player to have coming off the bench for the last 30 mins though.

Well put, Hooper is our best striker but needs to play off either Fletcher or yesterday Nuhiu where he hasn't got a big centre half smashing into him and he can link play and time his forward runs better. With the players we have available yesterday I would have played Nuhiu and Hooper as a half fit Hooper looks a better option than a half fit Winnal and As many others have said FF just doesn't work in that position. Lets hope Fletcher is fit for next week to play alongside Hooper and get Atdhe coming off the bench, as he can make a big impact as a sub.
