I remember t’owd feller being in Weston Park with terminal bowel cancer and we all called in to see him on the way to the Cup match v Man City (2007?) He just said “ Gi’em a shout from me, lad” Think he really wanted us to take him to the game in his jim-jams. I was the reason he started watching Wednesday in the sixties, he finished up being a more regular fan than me.
