Aarons on a permanent deal

It would be a great deal for them, Abdi is a far better player with proven premier league record who will be back to fitness in a couple of weeks, whereas Aarons is just some guy who happens to have the pace that we need.

We'd love to keep Abdi and will be sad to see him go, but we have one too many top class midfielders in the same position and can't afford to pay his wages due to FFP,

Do you know that you have to look through the small end of a pair of binoculars as you seem to have a very strange perspective on life. :Sid:

It is all about value for money for next season .

At the moment Bruce appears to have made a value for money signing in Iorfa.

Obviously Aarons has some good attributes but is inconsistent and we need some goalscorers in midfield, not sure he brings that.

I feel there might be better value out there.

We'll have Abdi shipped off to Newcastle in no time, a good deal for all parties involved lol

We may have no choice if we are under a transfer embargo. Anyway, let's see how things go the rest of the season before rushing to buy a player that, by all accounts, has performed without distinction at his previous loan clubs. He's made a good start but that's all.

Hi Rafa, this is Steve, we've got this overpaid Swiss midfielder who is way past his prime and can't stay fit for more than a fortnight, I was wondering whether you'd be interested in doing a swap deal for that exciting young pacy winger that we've got on loan from you?

You cannot be serious, Abdi will not be missed and many will be rejoicing when he's gone. Possibly the biggest waste of money ever for the club.

He signed for Newcastle on a free after being released by Bristol City. He’s only played 27 times for them. Absolutely no chance he’s on 80 grand a week. Done nowt to deserve that.

Yeah but it’s Mike Ashley we are talking about here. Anything is possible, especially the absurd.

Yes I would sign him, think he has a couple of years under contract so would just swop Abdi for him

£10,000 per week would be a good wage. More players will be out on a limb at the end of June

Not sure Newcastle would really want Abdi tbh. :Sid:
