Song for Iorfa

Recommended Posts

Little to discuss during the international break and I’m bored already.

Listening to some music earlier, Beautiful South Dumb came on. Yes yes I know Paul Heaton is a pig.

Anyway, thought Dom replaces the word Dumb very well. Either enjoy or say it’s crap. Couldn’t care less much either way.

To the tune of Beautiful South - Dumb

It didn’t take Wolverhampton,

Long to know they got it wrong,

Either you are simply beautiful,

Or you are simply Dom,

Dom Dom Dom ......Iorfa,

Dom Dom Dom ......Iorfa,

Dom Dom Dom ......Iorfa.

It just took Steve Bruce,

To see you were the one,

Either you are simply beautiful,

Or you are simply Dom,

Dom Dom Dom ......Iorfa,

Dom Dom Dom ......Iorfa,

Dom Dom Dom ......Iorfa.

Mate, we'd need hymn sheets to remember that.

omly 7 different shall lines and 26 unique words. If he worried if our fans can’t remember 26 words. 4 of them being our manager and player :Sid:

Sing his name to the chorus of 'Don't you want me' by The Human League.

I like it. Most of the songs suggested on here have as much chance of making the terraces as the UK has of winning Eurovision but yours has actually genuinely got legs.

“He was playing as a right back in the Black Country,

when he met Bruce”.

Will have to to leave it there as I can’t think of anything suitable that rhymes with Bruce. This songwriting lark isn’t easy is it.

I'd just keep it simple and sing the tune and chorus.
