vulva
Clinton Morrison. Thought it was a top signing at the time and he would get a shed full in League 1.

Tracksuit
Steve Harkness, played 100+ games for Liverpool. Came to us at a difficult time, I thought he would offer some stability & demand high standards from the players around him. He was rubbish tho. cowl
Sinton. There have been many but Sinton's always the one I first think of. An England international at the time, and had just spent the previous few seasons setting up the majority of Les Ferdinand's goals. I really thought when we signed him that he'd be the final missing piece in the squad that had won promotion and the League cup in 91, finished 3rd in Div One in 92, and reached both cup finals in 93. He was 27 and so at the 'right age' too, but it just never really happened for him with us.

As you say he wasn't garbage, moved clubs for large sums of money after us. Think you can blame the manager at the time that not enough was seen of him. Jesus
I thought Jeffers would be the poacher we needed at the time.
Arthur Bach
Thought Ekoku was a good signing. Premiership veteran put into a poor side, he did his bit I'd say. Wasn't he about 34 when we signed him?

Musn't Grumble
Terry Henfleet never materialised into the player we all hoped he could have been. Disappointing.
