Jos clearly had no idea what he was doing so his decision to play him in the cup cant be how we judge him. He has to be better than other options we have in CM at the moment. spike1867 Posted March 21, 2019 Share Posted March 21, 2019 Perfect example at 30 seconds of what Hooper is all about and he's not even match fit yet. Its a simple movement inside and then checks out but his marker never gets near him again. Straight after that he's linking play in midfield which is why Bannan looks a much better player when Hooper is in the side. He doesn't have to go 40 yard hollywood pass, just a simple short pass into feet and go again. Its the footballing intelligence, its knowing your position, its knowing your role. My biggest regret with Hooper is that we never got to see him play with a strike partner with genuine pace, a Vardy type. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
