i used to be sc_owl
If we get there and draw the blunts, on a scale of zero to The Bay of Pigs, how well organised will the policing be?
Popular Post Greengrass
Don't think there has been a playoff semi final at 3am on a Monday morning behind closed doors.
Morepork
The policing would no doubt be hardcore. That said, I don't think it would ever resemble an amphibious assault of Cuba. 1

You say that, but i think, Id rather mount an amphibious assault on cuba than go through a playoff double header with utd.
Popular Post Harrysgame
Would rather play them in a 2 leg semi Could you imagine losing to your bitter rivals at Wembly! It would scar you for life. LOL 1
sherlyegg
Do they have to give us 10,000 tickets...or would the police resign if so

Guest ka58
If this happens (I don’t think it will). and we beat united over two legs with them having finished 3rd and just missed out on automatic and us 6th I will have completed football and will leave it there happy and contented for the rest of my living days. Popular Post Suzuki_San
Christ, remember how pis5ed some of the Brighton fans were when we beat them over 2 legs and how 'unfair' it was, becuase they'd finished 3rd? Imagine that again, but it being the pigs?! 1

That would be carnage, gives everyone all day Sunday to get marinated ahead of the match.
latemodelchild
Would be hell to go through but on the other hand, that's why we love football isn't it? For the big games? The chance to create lasting memories? Unfortunately, or fortunately if your a bit of a wuss, it won't happen. I'd say there's a very good chance they'll go up auto and we will miss out. This view may be reappraised in a week but at the moment that's where I'd be placing my bet.

akbuk
What dates would the semi finals take place on?
Plonk
Can you imagine if they went up automatic, the gloating that would go on. Only for us to join them a couple of weeks later after our worst season in years. Would still rather beat them in the play offs though. Would make mind the gap year look like a freak result. sherlyegg
They have, bristol, brum, preston, forest, hull. Win them 5, lose the other 4 and finish 3rd would suit
SiJ
Can you imagine. They'll be helicopters, armoured tanks, water cannons, smoke grenades and long sticks. They'll then let the away fans out at the same time as the home fans
i used to be sc_owl
I don’t think it will be allowed to happen. The game will have to move to another country, like that South American match a few weeks ago.
clud17
SYP would bleat on about it being the most expensive match to police by insisting on 1:1 policing. Tickets would also be £100 as we have to pay for our personal policeman's seat... ...and with all that in place they would still feck it up. thewookieisdown
all good fun, but since they play some of our possible rivals, and we play their two competitors, the more likely it is we come 6th, the more likely it is they will come top two.
