I wouldn’t change a lightbulb in the dressing-room right now. It’s going superbly.

There’s not that much difference between a 4-2-3-1 and a 4-3-3. Just a bit of a tweak than a major change.

 

Bannan would shift slightly to the left but he would get more cover in midfield which would allow him to play further forward.

 

Palmer would probably be more at home as a right sided central midfielder than at left back. 

 

Fox was part of a solid back four before his injury.

 

Aarons and Reach’s position wouldn’t change tho having a bit of cover with a right sided and left sided central midfielder behind them would allow them to be more attack minded.

 

it also solves the problem of who plays the attacking central midfield / second striker role.

Same as Bolton with winnall on for half hour or second half depending on game and situation

Matias would slip wearing Velcro boots on a Velcro pitch. Don’t think today is a day for Marco.
