I'd go with a slight tactical switch from the 4-2-3-1 we seem to be playing to a 4-3-3.  That would allow us to go with a front three of:

Aarons    Fletcher     Reach

As ever with our squad tho you try and fix one issue but just create a problem elsewhere but I'd be tempted to go with a central midfield three of:

Palmer    Hutchinson   Bannan

And a back four of:

Iorfa    Lees    Hector   Fox

I think the width we got from a Reach and Aarons was great. Wouldn’t change a thing.

I like how both got to the by line and went past their man...opens a reight can of worms up ...if they could just pick a man out...

A choice of Boyd or Matias playing is like choosing to be punched in the mouth or kicked in the nuts

TBF Aarons picked out Winnall, and Reach regularly picks a man out, eg Fessi at Rotherham, Joao at Ipswich, Fletcher home to Brentford.

Totally agree it’s great that we are starting to get to the bye-line.

Which one of Boyd and Matias is punched in the mouth?

I'll take that option everytime over kicked in the nuts.

That bit wouldn't change whether playing 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3.

The slight tweak is in midfield from say:

Hutchinson    &    Bannan (as the two)

And then one of Boyd / Forestieri / Nuhiu (as the one)

To:

                   Hutchinson

      Palmer (Onomah)   Bannan

Big Dave for Winnall. Hooper on the bench. Everything else the same.

thats why in the mom he got 2 ffs

Nuhiu has two MotM votes, and that's justification for not selecting him.

But Hutchinson has only one vote...

Hopefully, Steve Bruce is a bit smarter than to let MotM ratings have any influence over team selection.

Good luck finding a striker more mobile than Nuhiu.

I hope that's sarcasm.

I’d be surprised if Hooper was on the bench after everything SB has said about slowly slowly introducing the players who have been out for years............ feels like it anyway

Hoping for a big performance before the international break ‘that’s for sure’

unchanged I’m expecting with Hutchinson doing a job on Dack.

Westwood

Iorfa

Lees

Hector

Palmer

Reach

Hutchinson

Bannan

Aarons

Nuhiu

Fletcher

In their faces from the off, high press high energy and lethal finishing!!

seems easy doesn’t it?...... it won’t be tho

See you all Saturday

I try not to, I've always maintained that thinking is over-rated.

Anything that means Dave doesn’t get on the pitch, I’m for

Still haven’t forgiven him for his pre match warm up earlier this season and never will.

He’s a joke of a pro and a shiiite footballer who decides when he wants to ‘play’

Bet you weren’t saying that after his 14 goals last season which kept us up.

You are usually such a sound poster.

You would honestly change the formation, bring in fox, move Bannan, Palmer, Aarons and Reach?

I wouldn’t change a lightbulb in the dressing-room right now. It’s going superbly.

I'm a big promoter of 4-3-3 with this squad. As it is though, at the moment I agree. I'd stick with the 4-2-3-1.

Just that second striker query.

I'm not so sure Bruce might not be just as well doing it like an Under 10's game and given them a half each!

Cue the joke “ I’ll pull you off at half-time”.
