Derby’s next fixtures look easier than most. Home to Rotherham next

Rotherham just got the winner 95 min, they are fighting for their lives, not as if playing some mid table nothing to play for team.

Thought Rotherham played Norwich on Saturday?

Results not too bad tonight. It's really all about us and being able to maintain our current form. A little assistance from lady luck wouldn't go amiss either.

Bruce has done a remarkable job in a short space of time. (Also, let us not forget those results secured by Bullen in the interim). The question now really is down to SB being able to continue to galvanise a group of players that we know aren't mentally the strongest and make them believe.

Whatever happens, I'm personally delighted in the fact that we have a clear direction once more and we've taken strides in that direction over the last few weeks.

Good thing is we’ve got to play the 4 teams above us meaning we can deal a blow to all of their playoff chances while boosting our own. In reality we’ve pretty much got to have a bit of a stormer in the last 9 games, but at least it’s potentially in our own hands.

Completely agree, I'm actually glad we've got to play those sides above us. Could be a few 6 pointers coming up soon.

Were playing 4 teams in the thick of it

Bristol Preston forest villa

2 teams flying

Leeds Norwich

And 3 teams we must beat

Qpr stoke Blackburn

With Bristol forest and villa at home - we must take advantage and get behind the boys and take these on.

I see 20/1 points max - not sure it will Get us there

Even the Preston win might not seem so bad if Boro start slipping, no way are they nailed on for the top 6 yet.

The pity if Boro start slipping is that Bristol City's game in hand is against them so we'd just replace Boro with them above us... plus they're up against Villa next, another team based on tonight might keep us out of the play offs.
