It’s eleven good players playing in their best roles. It’s having genuine width in Aarons and Reach. It’s confortable systems. It’s pressing. It’s a midfield duo that are playing high up the field, playing really well and working like dervishes. And yes, it’s a superb goalkeeper of course. Well done Steve Bruce. Agreed - I'm a Westwood fan don't get me wrong and his treatment by the previous incumbment (whatever it was to do with) was absurd .. but lets not take away from factors including Bruce, stability, consistency, defenders putting in proper shifts now and with Hutch providing cover also - whoever it was between the sticks, it would be a hell of a lot better now than before. As me a humble football fan can honestly not see why both of these players have not been resigned to new deals - even if they are only 1 year deals.
