And it's all down to the reinstatement of Westwood.

Please Mr C let's get him tied down to a contract ASAP.

It’s hard to even think that some on here questioned the value of Westwood and the fact that he was still a vet good keeper.

One of the best if not the best we’ve had in 15/20 years.

It's not.

That's doing a massive disservice to the rest of the team, who have put in some very well-organised and disciplined performances, as well as Bullen, Bruce and the new coaching team.

Westwood has certainly played his part, but it's a team game.

Completely agree. To be fair we even had some people not wanting Jos sacked at the end. Scary.

Said it there in a nutshell, very well organised performances by a keeper who is fantastic at organising.

It's not all about the world class saves, a large part of goalkeeping is organising and bringing confidence to the team and we can see that in boat loads.

Westwood's not the only one organising the team. To try and credit him and him alone for our much-improved defensive solidity is to overlook the vital contributions of many other players, as well as the coaching staff.

As we saw last season, Westwood is more than capable of conceding goals when playing in a badly-organised team.

Yes, how stupid do they look now.

I can remember all those who neged me in September for wanting Dross out.

Westwood is part of the reason. There's a few other reasons too as evidenced in this thread. Jos has a lot to answer for.

Bang on

I hope he is sat at home and is deeply embarrassed at the job he did here. He’s cost us big time this season. With his gross incompetence
