One of the best if not the best we’ve had in 15/20 years.

That's doing a massive disservice to the rest of the team, who have put in some very well-organised and disciplined performances, as well as Bullen, Bruce and the new coaching team. Westwood has certainly played his part, but it's a team game.
WalthamOwl
Just imagine how many more points we could have had with Westwood and Hutch playing all season. Absolute disgraceful decisions from that awful manager Jos. Westwood needs a new contract ASAP. Simply has to be our number one next season

Scary.
Owl in Nottingham
Jos has surely been totally and utterly shown to have made bad team selection decisions. His tactical set ups were not any good either. Cost us the season

It's not all about the world class saves, a large part of goalkeeping is organising and bringing confidence to the team and we can see that in boat loads.
latemodelchild
Westwood is part of the reason. There's a few other reasons too as evidenced in this thread. Jos has a lot to answer for.

Mystic Neg
Can we not keep going on about Jos and what ifs. There's been a pretty big sea change since the forum and very easy to make scapegoats particularly when they've gone. No one knows what happened. Its gone. Onwards and upwards.

Westwood's not the only one organising the team. To try and credit him and him alone for our much-improved defensive solidity is to overlook the vital contributions of many other players, as well as the coaching staff. As we saw last season, Westwood is more than capable of conceding goals when playing in a badly-organised team.
