Setting off straight after work.

The weather is about as miserable as it gets. Not expecting a great spectacle but I'll be happy if we nick it 1-0.

Brilliant thread as ever, as for the game if we beat Bolton with that history against them it will be a sign for them, also i think we will win and win on Saturday and i'll be on booking.com trying to find Wembley hotels again. Oh to dream. COME ON WEDNESDAY. 3-1 win i'm going for.

Good thread as ever. We'll be 8 nil up with 10 to play, then Trotters players will all trot off in protest and we will be downgraded to a 3 nil default win instead. It's the Wednesday way.

Up the Owls.

And then we finish 7th on goal difference, missing out on the playoffs by 4 goals...

It won't be easy but I'm tipping us to win 0 v 1.

Brilliant as always snoots but I'm a little disappointed about the pool team captain bit as was my local pub team captain and when I retired, it all went wrong now there is no team at all, anyway we will win this 2-1, was thinking we get a clean sheet but then remembered that will buckleys and mark beevers play for them so surely 1 of them will score against us. Another brilliant OMDT, cheers for that!

My employer now wants me to work overtime because of the extra time spent reading all of that, but a plus for the omdt were all the pretty pictures! :)

I think it's about time we grinded out a result away to Bolton, you know, going there as in-form team and actually delivering on that promise... whether they put their unpaid first XI on the pitch or use their youth academy, who I actually fear more would cause an upset.

Anyhow, let's hope all games tonight end with away victories, that would be very nice:Sid:

Oh, and I fancy Aarons and Winnall to score one each... heck, I'll be generous and throw in national team debutant Palmer, but he'll only score from a goal mouth shuffle where he trips over the ball and fumbles it across the line unintentionally trying to make a back pass for Winnall to side foot in... My god, he's a terrific defender and crosser, but have you seen him shoot at goal?? Anyhow, congrats on the Scotland team call-up, go out and celebrate with another stellar performance!

Looking forward to this one once I’ve navigated the M62. An absolute must win if we are to have anything to cling on to in these last few games.

I've put this in the team thread, But worth sticking a copy in here.

I think there is scope for Bruce to go there with a 4-4-2 and a more traditional front pairing.

But I do wonder, even though he's not as reactionary in terms of the opposition as Carlos and Jos whether he might have one eye on the way Bolton line up.

Ameobi might be given the deep lying role again rather than on the flank and that would look like something to keep an eye.

Last thing we need is the lad getting up a head of stean and haring straight at our defence.

If Hutchinson is tasked with being the one to detail him then it might mean it's ore likely an attacking midfilder playing off Fletcher/Nuhui and dropping back in to help out in the middle numbers games.

It's things like that that make me think we might see Boyd get the nod again.

All guess work of course but be interesting to see what Bruce does.

this is the sort of game under the clown or jos earlier this season that we would be nailed on to lose , don't think steve bruce would put up with players not giving there all ,the game night should suit nuhiu but he needs runners for flick ons . going to be horrendous tonight with high winds and rain blowing . game needs to be played in there final 3rd as defenders will makes mistakes in those conditions.
