Fair enough. That's good then.

Honestly, I think he only paid the full and part time staff last week because of the threat of the game being called off, seeing as the stewards are part time staff. He is yet another fine example of the Football Leagues idea of what a fit and proper person to run a club is :Sid:

Bolton's next game and other remaining games are in doubt now, takeover is now off and they could be liquidated for an unpaid £1m+ unpaid tax bill this week.

All points won against them from this seasons results would probably be wiped out benefiting teams who have yet to play them or dropped points against them.

If that were to happen, the big winners at the top of the table would be Derby and Birmingham, with plenty of other teams around us also benefitting at our (and the top three's) expense.

The points swings should the worst happen to Bolton would be:

Norwich -6

United -6

Leeds -6

West Brom -3

Middlesbrough -3

Villa -3

Preston -4

Derby 0

Bristol City -4

Wednesday -6

Forest -3

Hull -6

Birmingham 0

For entirely altruistic reasons of course, let's just hope they can sort themselves out, eh?
