Was in the home end today diagonal  opposite our fans and you all came across very loud and clear

Perfect example of the old two lines of segregation stewards jobby... No sterile empty seats (sorry stands) there then!

Awesome. I was in the main Derby stand just above the dug-out and it was some noise being made, for the whole game. The SB chant sounds particularly powerful. And tbf, the Derby fans in the first half helped make it a cracking atmosphere

The Derby version of the bounce song tho...

They seemed oddly chuffed to be doing it in front of the fans that they blatantly copied their inferior version from. It was a bit like Vanilla Ice performing the stolen Under Pressure riff in front of Queen and thinking he was it.

Last season there was scrapping everywhere in the away end, total contrast to today.

It was one of those great away days that make you proud to be an owl

The gak must have improved

Derby fan on Championship forum reckons they do bouncing song better than us and we've nicked Sam Winnall song off them. :tango:

That really has put the SAG Panel to absolute shame on the way they handle crowd Segregation at S6.

Had a few months off away matches after getting a bit pee’d off with the atmospheres and idiots but yesterday was great and restored my faith. Bring on Bolton on Tuesday.

Best one since Villa I thought. UTO.

One great thing about Derby is that they have exactly the right positioning of away fans in the ground, and the noisiest home fans next to them.

No deliberate long slither like Wolves, no third tier like Newcastle or Sunderland; Just give the away fans an end or corner, next to core home fans, and the atmosphere will be better for everyone.

Wolves take care of their own. They deliberately give the worst part of the ground for atmosphere (long open side terrace) to away fans. Away fans might be a long way from the pitch at Newcastle/Sunderland but it can be quite noisy up there just like the upper Lepps.
