I don’t think the championship is quite as complicated as people think.

Colin figures it out. Bruce probably knows already.

Pace, Power, Consistency

No no no! Overlapping centre-halves are the future!  ...............aren’t they?

Easily got to be the worst counter attacking side in the league. It’s not even solely down to a lack of pace either, our decision making in those moments is atrocious.

See the break we had 2nd half today. Iirc Winnall had the choice of Aarons and Hutch in acres against one Derby defender down the left. Or Nuhiu down the right against two with no space infront of him and about 10 yard from the touchline. He played in Nuhiu, who then got ushered to the byline, and the attacked is killed stone dead.

He needs to tell Bannan to keep running once hes passed the ball and not make himself available to pass back to. Most of the players want to pass it through Bannan, if he's forward of those players then it gets us up the field quicker.

We’ll get there, the slow build up has been drummed into our players for 3 years, for a lot of them it’s their default mode. Really can’t wait until next season now, hoping we’ll look a completely different side, whoever is playing for us.

We need pace

Weve addressed it, we have enough now but it’s no use if you don’t move the ball quickly. We’ve been poor st that for 3 years now.

Bruce went as crackers as me today when just before half time we managed to work our way from a decent position back to Westwood

It’s so refreshing listening to Bruce in press conferences and post match interviews. He’s so honest and down to earth. I love how he calls a spade a spade and doesn’t sugar coat the flaws in our game. So much better than the riddles of CC and the rounduns we listened to from the tached wonder!!

Oh my god, so much this!

It really agitates me when our players chip, loop or float a pass where the receiving player has to wait for the ball to come down to them rather than play it simple straight on the deck for them to run onto.

It's been one of the (many) reasons why other teams could find their shape so quickly against us these last few years.

Yep. The one thing the pigs had the other night is the ability to ping in a dangerous ball. If we had that we'd have a few more goals and points to our name.

Good old fashioned ENGLISH football, get the ball wide and get it in the box, then fwds ATTACK the ball not wait for it.

Nowt wrong with that, full of excitement.

Said the same sometime ago but some on here poo poo it saying it was old fashioned and we should make twenty passes and give the opposition time to get back.

Bruce isn’t an idiot . Unlike clueless Carlos who just fetched in any player who was available in our budget , he is clearly looking for the areas we are lacking in. Everybody could see we needed pace, so we signed Boyd . Brilliant . Bruce is here for a day and signs iorfa which is a good start.

Very frustrating how often we’ve got the basics wrong last few years. So many passes are slow or behind the player and kill all momentum for counter attacks. Absolutely no idea why our players do it so often. Also they don’t meet the ball, just stand and wait for it rather than driving on to it.

absolutely,  with proper use of the funds we've recently had we could have focused on the first 2

the trick is having an experienced  man manager who can conjure the 3rd  it's early but encouraged that we may have that guy who can remodel this squad
