Good Point

Recommended Posts

We overall played the better football, Derby weren’t in it for long spells and we dictated the play most of the game - they had a good last 10/15 with plenty of shots off that tested Westwood every time.

Few points from today:

Boyd was nothing short of an absolute joke and shouldn’t be given the shirt again - slow, no awareness, awful in possession

Defence looks really tight still apart from one slip up not marking for their goal, they were confined to shooting outside the box

We don’t test keepers - we had a some good possession in final third, but Carson didn’t have a shot to save hardly - we really need to start testing them more

A LOT of poor and wrong passes - players holding onto the ball trying to work their way out rather than releasing, and some bad choices in possession - if we get better at this then the rest will come off the back of it

Winnall - been out for that long, but looks exactly the player like he was before - running in behind, good awareness and passing. Thank god he’s back just as we have yet another injury

Probably a fair result, but feels like a loss given we were controlling a lot of the game .

Agree with everything you say except for the thread title lol

If we had been as quick to shoot as Derby we'd have had 3 or 4 today. Even in the box our automatic action is to look for a pass rather than to shoot.

Trying to play in tight areas got us into trouble a few times today and on Monday. We usually put 2 or 3 quick passes together and then try the extra one even when there is a clear outball to set play up. Aarons seems the biggest culprit but Bannan also does more than his fair share.

Their goal I felt was a bit fortunate in that it flicked off a head from the corner straight across the box straight onto Johnson's head. He did not even have to jump. It was particularly galling as it came shortly after Reach lacked the composure to set Boyd up with a tap in.

Definitely feels like a loss.

Its NOT a good point...honest..Its a middling, average, keep you hanging on point...Its deliberate..Its the Gods of football!

Really...Only Sheffield Wednesday could hit on a manager..almost accidently after having an incumbent that ballsed it up for half a season.

They then go into the last 14 or 15 games, and go from worrying about relegation to hoping for promotion.

On top of that..you know its not "Roy of the Rovers"..

You actually KNOW that its not gonna be a last minute overhead kick from "Roy" ..(who's also only got one leg and is makin' his comeback) thats gonna get you up..

You f.ookin' know that its simply conspiring to keep you interested until the last game.

Once, as a Wednesday fan you accept this bloody crap, you will rest far easier...

They’re in the playoffs chief - and we struggle against them all the time

A point was a fair result today - whether you like it or not
