Ever the pessimist
Love that 5th goal. Less impressed with Hooper’s touch!
Ronio
Good win that. Great to see Hooper back playing football again. We are massively short on players at the moment. You only have to look at the bench in the last game to see that. Hopefully both Winnall and Hooper could give us a lift going into the final stretch of the season. Could very well be the difference. james o connor
There are several of those lads crying out for being loaned out . It’s daft just letting them play in these games . A season in the lower leagues would do them a world of good . Side note . Some good goals there and some poor keeping !

To fair, so was Hooper by the looks of it........but he did drop back to find the space, which bodes well.

Hopefully it wont be too long before the best youngsters are getting spots on the bench. I believe Brooks was about 18 when he started playing for the Pigs and he’s a skinny lad so it can be done He is not 18 until 12th of this month, he is still a bit young especially against a team who specialise in rough house football. He has been on bench once this season and can see him being on bench again before too long. in write up of game Grant gets a good mention.. With high pressing tactics we are now using both of these players with high energy and pace are the type you need. The style we are adopting will not suit all of the players we have JP and BB are on slow side and have not shown up as well. Hutchinson, reach and Aarons have been suited by tactics. malek
Hunt looks to me as a similar type of player to Bannan in style. Little fella working hard to make himself available for the ball, and with good range of passing. Packs powerfull shot as well. Liam Shaw reminds me alot of Carlton Palmer. Tall, lanky fella who gets around pitch well, and gets himself into goalscoring positions. Proper box to box midfielder in making. Decent at CB as well. Still Conor Grant impressed me the most. Well rounded midfielder, calm on the ball and hard to press into making mistakes. Creates and scores goals as well. Lewis Farmer is another CM to look out for. Nippy, agressive and protects ball well. Doing great for U-18's in his first season with them. Both Kirby and Hunt are at age where they need to go out on loan next season unless we want to stall their development. Btw. Anyone knows anything about Luke Hall ? Attacking midfielder playing for our U-16's I heard great things about. Trained with England youth squad as well, and made his U-18's debut when we got 10 past Huddersfield.
Ronnie Starling
Liam Shaw seems to have grown a lot and has always been one to watch along with Liam Waldock.
