If we can tempt him back, hopefully we’ll give him the first team contract he so richly deserved 18 months ago!! :Chansiri:

You mean the one we offered him and he turned down?

Never going to happen. Will be at Leicester next season

He's struggling to make any sort of impact or score goals in what is basically like being in our pub league for standard, so I don't think Leicester will be jumping through hoops to bring him back over to play in the Premier and be thier new Jamie vardy.

The kid wasn't ready and still by the sounds of isn't ready to play championship football let alone the prem.

If they do hell end up on loan in either league 1 or 2.

He has effectively missed 2 years of development and at his age its absolutely crucial. To go to second division Belgian football was a daft move. he obviously got no offers from any of clubs he expected tonanybody taling him on will be able to play hard ball as he has less to recommend him than last season. Could not see anybody paying a transfer fee for him.

The plan probably was that he'd go the Belgian 2nd tier and take it by storm score loads of goals and clubs would be queuing up to sign him or he'd be back at Leicester for the last few games probably on the bench. It hasn't come even close to happening.

Not good enough at the end of the day,

Son of Hirst was lauded on here as the second coming of Christ and he has failed to live up to potential so far. Should have got his head down and worked hard instead of listening to advice from a well rinsed source who sort to make up for the failings in his own career path.

Zero sympathy for his plight.

I cant really hold any malice against the kid.

Unfortunately, he appears to have been very badly advised by those who should have been looking out for his best interests *cough* his father etc.

As it is, he's playing in the Belgium 2nd division, or should I say watching the Belgium 2nd division from the bench.

I'm sure in time all of it will come out in the wash as to what exactly happened in his last 12 months here. Needless to say, we missed out on a decent transfer fee or a good, young prospect coming through the system and hes ended up wasting two years of crucial development.
