Harry said on Look North tonight that SYP said that all future Sheffield derbies would be in midweek.

syp said they have nothing to do with how many supporters we allow in ground or time for game, cause they defo wouldn't agree to fri night derbies if they had there way , if we get a normal Saturday for games and we both have midweek games following week they cant make us play on a Monday ,just this week they aint a full program of league games but they will be next week . the most sensible time would be 12noon sunday little traffic ,hardly any drinking before game and most you would get is a bit of agro in a few pubs in town what can easily be contained . im sure sky could have moved that Watford Leicester game to Monday and we could have played at 12 on sunday.

I Think the club should express no confidence in SAG and explore possibilities with FA permission of engaging HSE as safety advisors in that way SYP would be answerable to a governing body on safety. At the moment SYP are completely irresponsible thus...They declare a road map for the event and then go on to completely ignore their own blueprint.

CONSIDERATIONS

  • Engage HSE as the independent arbiter of safety.
  • Reciprocal big screening arrangements and opening  access for homefans in hitherto away areas.
  • Closing Riverside walk to Leppings Lane and North stand exit similarly.
  • Closing John Street and Cherry Street access to Bramall Lane.
  • Hillsborough admin need to take a serious look at only offering renewals for west end of the North stand on a scatter gun approach thus breaking up the tough guy Army.
  • The West side of the North as a family stand would not necessitate number restrictions .'. potentially increasing capacity.
  • Thanks 1

Games will be arranged for Tuesday or Wednesday next season. Syp have requested EFL to put them on midweek match days.

What time was this? Saw some stewards legging it from the north towards away end about 10 minutes before kick off. And did it really take over 8 minutes for some of the hundreds of stewards and coppers to sort it out?

We normally go out the lepp end of the north. Glad we didn't last night and won't ever do it in the future until syp get themselves sorted. So never. Can't risk my son getting caught up in that crap. Bellends from both teams.

So, we WILL be playing them next year.

well it made no difference did it last night to how many idiots were out causing mayhem . the only day and time what would cause less bother would be sunday 12 noon it would stop 90% of the agro before game , just be some scuffles later in town but nowt what they couldn't handle.  derby been going on over 100 years now sypolice tell us we cant play it at weekend no more. crazy.

Not just SYP’s fault. There’s always some idiots that ruin it for everyone

I agree . However that’s life.

taxes are paid for a service to uphold the law and protect the public (whether at the match or not) and they are totally shambolic.

They insist on gaps between fans the size of North America at Hillsborough and yet at Old Trafford they seem to manage with a few rows.

i wonder why? Mmmmm

I'm not sure, just before game or half time.

Unbelievable that there's no stewards or police until near end of video.

Easy to identify the pondlife causing the trouble in this video . Im hoping it has been passed to the plod.  Everyone of these complete wasters should be charged and prosecuted.

Which flipping idiots think it's ok to behave like this?

Why the hell did SYP create that situation by letting the away fans out of the stadium. ? The bellends throwing things need banning for life from both clubs, but the plod must take full responsibility for that .

All this ‘hooligans only fight other hooligans’ talk is nonsense. The filthy pig clowns on the tram were up

for attacking anyone in blue and white regardless of their wishes

we travelled into town a few of us boy's and they were very quiet !!!

Bottom line is, some folk just want a scrap. Same bunch that fight on Sunday mornings at football, pubs Friday night etc.

Blaming the police is pointless. We’ve had this game at every day and time now. The ZDS match was a Thursday night, they’ve tried Sunday’s at 12. It will kick off irrespective of day, time, league etc.

People have been kept in, let out at the same time, and they’ve even tried limiting tickets for the away team.

Its not the polices fault. It’s not them that shove powder up there nose, smash trams up or sing about snap chat.

Its got to the point where the off field stuff is a bigger story than the result.
