Beholder
Palmer just pipped it in front of Hector. Palmer is becoming one of those players who I want the ball to go to... Which says alot about him... And unfortunately for Iorfa, he isn't good enough to fill Palmers boots at right back.

HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
Tom Lees for me, he kept the division's top goal scorer in his back pocket Hector had a great game too, he made Madine look anything but a goal machine Hutchinson had a great game too But I went for Lees 1 Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife. He gets 25% votes for getting stuck in a couple of times. Lees, Hector, Palmer, and Westwood were solid. The rest meh! No idea what game you were watching. Carrying Bannan was a monumental effort from Hutch

Guest LittleG
Palmer just shades it from Lees with Hector and Hutch close behind. Iorfa defended well but looked very nervy in possession
Guest Kagoshimaowl
Westwood 8 Iorfa 7 Lees 8 Hector 8 Palmer 8 Hutchinson 7 (9 if he’d got winner) Bannan 6 Reach 6 Aarons 7 ( what a wonderful cross) Forestieri 6 Fletcher 6 Boyd 5 ( please get rid in the summer) Fox 5 Nuhiu N/A Battled well but lacked a spark. Palmer was outstanding again and deserves a new contract but I love watching Iora. He’s just so athletic, it’s unreal. Defensively we were excellent especially with that dirty barsteward Billy Blunt fouling people all the time. Hutch could have been the hero... Unfortunately, not getting 3 points has screwed any outside chance of play offs for me. Need to win at Derby on Saturday which is something we can never do! Never wanted to get down the line, always looking for a way out. Hutch is our new legend! Gives absolutely everything within himself to win in blue n white, his desire and attitude along with his passion for the game, is something we have missed since the glory days. You can tell he lives this club. Palmer keeps playing like that likewise. Hector needs his own song! Immense yet again. Westwood kept Madine out, always dependable. Arrons had his moments. Lees did Lees Fletch had his flashes Bannan delivered some decent corners, but that quick free kick was a shame FF looked lively, always looking to work the ball Boyd offered zero Reach always seems to go missing in the big games, supplied nothing All in all a good performance, we wasn't out played, could easily have won that game and we can all hold our heads high supporting this team. Up the Owls. p.s How has Sammy H got kids? Fairy? Watch that 50/50 challenge he won in the first half and then comment again. I do agree that he could have been more positive on the ball but calling him a fairy is downright ridiculous!

jamiejohn
Westwood 7 had little to do but did it well iorfa 7 did his defensive duties well but didn’t get forward enough palmer 8 out of position but excellent again, our best player last two months lees 8 solid reliable the Tom Lees of old hector 8 immense bannan 6 played too deep again but worked hard hutchinson 8 stopped their midfield overpowering us which was vital should have scored reach 6 rarely involved not entirely his fault worked hard aarons 7 mixed bag but put in some quality balls fletcher 7 isolated but worked extremely hard forestieri7 looked lively but away from the danger area shame he went off boyd 6 effort not much else fox 6 seemed more concerned with not making an error than being positive nuhui na overall quite pleased we more than matched them and could have won it feel our weak bench stopped us really going for it and they are a very dirty side
Hack-Abusi
Palmer for me. Absolute Trojan tonight. Played really well on both sides. Hector had a good game but made a few errors as well .. id even go as far to say that Lees was better tonight. think hector with the flashy boots and large frame stands out more though. not a knock by any stretch of the imagination neither
Owls77
Palmer for me, still can’t please a few on here though. He has been solid every game this season and is getting better with every game under Bruce.
Musn't Grumble
Palmer was solid tonight and deserves the praise being heaped upon him. For me, he was MoM, just ahead of Hector whose game would be even better if he could avoid the odd mistake.
pat blondeau
Hector MOM for me closely followed by Lees and Palmer. Boyd garbage as expected and Bannan disappointing. Was hoping Baz and Forestieri would dictate the play tonight but it didn’t happen for either of them

George
Westwood - 7 - organised well, looked out of position a couple of times Iorfa - 6 - looks like he has potential Palmer - 8 - renineded me of Ian Nolan Hutchinson - 7 drove forward well at times Lees - 8 - solid Hector - 9 only didn't get ten because nobody is perfect but won everything Bannan - 5 - just wasn't at the races FF - 8 - ran his testicles off and gave us time on the ball. Big blow when he went off. Still a cheeky monkey thougj Fletcher - 7 Reach - 5 - took me a while to remember who had played wide right. Aarons - 8 - scared thegm shitless but achieved fizz all Boyd - 5 - out of position. Hasn't got the pace. I think he gets a lot of unfair stick but was ineffective tonight. Big Dave - 10 - alwsys a ten. Love him Fox 6 Edited March 5, 2019 by George
soldierowl
Don't understand why Boyd is always the whipping boy. FF played a central role and it was way too congested (and he was supplying nothing) there with the Blunts 3 centre backs. When Boyd came on he worked both flanks and dragged the centre backs out with him, creating space for Fletcher and the non existent (except for Hutchinson) runners from midfield (how we miss Lee). Not all good football is played with the ball.
