He was a good player and I seem to remember his agent unsettling him after a few good performances. I liked him but it never really happened in the end. A brief bright spark in very dark days.

If memory serves there was talk in the press about a £1mil move to West Ham based on his form at the time.

Didnt he score something like 11 in a season for us. Kind of like a loose forward/right winger type player. Think he was also a free signing too. We have defo had and kept worse players.....which is worrying.

A good player for League One, but played in a very poor team.

Far better than that fat lad, Adam Proudlock, which Dave Allen signed with our last £200k

Dave Alllen and his Venemous B1tch3s, what an era

I remember a bit about him, nimble feet and a bit Owen Morrison esq.

He was in a squad of zero talent, so standing out wasn't so hard, but yet I always expected more of him then....he was gone.

This must be the most criminally misused phrase in football. It has never meant “looked promising but turned out to be average”; it means literally what it says.

Crap player in a crap team.

We were so bad the highlight of his time here was that most memorable game against the now defunct Rushden & Diamonds I believe another superstar Beswertherick played in.

Sadly that name just brings back memories of the turner years when we got beat by Orient and Wrexham.

Most unpopular fan on the Kop at that time was the one who said "give me a G" etc.
