Guest
Unbelievable performance form Fletcher, he’s had his criticism over the time he’s been here but under a manager like Bruce he’s probably loving life right now , he’s a big time experienced pro and exactly the type of player that’s gonna thrive off having a manager like Bruce around
dani_armo
Player of the season for me but apparently we don't need him anymore cus big daves better
Walt
Been playing well for a while now has Fletcher, just need to get someone to run beyond him as he's winning more than his fair share of battles with the centre halves. A fit Hooper would be having a field day with Fletcher in this sort of form. FF played far too deep and didn't really get into the game or get close enough to Fletcher imo. Still, not a bad complaint to have when the team have put in a really good performance.
slightlybruisedman
If he doesn’t score, he is still a class, class player. Great touch, intelligent. Oh btw is this the Fletcher who can’t play two games in a week? Funny folk that don’t turn up on here any more innit...
meggoisgod
Yes they did really well tonight and look fit as well because they are enjoying it probably. Hutchinson looks like a machine, fletch was great, Hector the daddy at the back. Just get Fernando firing and we have lift off
Pablo Bonvin
It was his first double since April 2017. Interestingly, something else we haven’t done since April 2017 is win 3 home games on the bounce.........

PopePiusX
It's obvious that his time as Davis of Darwin College, Cambridge on University Challenge and the lengthy grooming process involved with the position took its toll earlier in the season. Yes, lengthy grooming process. 1
Rogerwyldesmullet
Such a perfect Steve Bruce type player. Wouldnt be surprised if he is offered a new contract.

Last_Great_Hope
He always competes in the air and wins his "share" of headers - but last night he absolutely dominated their CB's. His % of aerial battles won must have been over 80%.

shezzas left peg
Tippy tap about with 300 slow laterel passes, eventually move it out wide to a winger on his wrong foot for crossing to kill what little forward pace /momentum we have by stopping and checking back to in swing one to the keeper has been our way in recent times. Fletcher as with Rhodes and other strikers who rely on quick dangerous balls into the box will be starved of service, therefore not score goals. Under Bruce we've remembered how to counter quickly and with incision, getting to the byline and getting balls into the box while defenders arnt organised and set. Hence now instead of relying on a Reach worldy to win us games our strikers are now getting far better service and given good ammo Fletcher in an around the box will score goals. Its hardly rocket science, yet as like many of the baffling things that seem to be happening around the club the last few years the people in charge have seemed pretty clueless. Thank god for the return of common sense through Steve Bruce.
