Many have failed to live up to expectation, but some became legends. I remember first time I saw Roland and knew he was class. Also remember Dielna and thought wow (Oops !) alanharper Posted February 23, 2019 Share Posted February 23, 2019 (edited) Francesco Sanetti and Colin West , goalscoring debutants, as was Regi Blinker with a double at Villa Park including a stunner in the first few minutes. I think we lost all 3 of those games though. For drama you'll never beat Owusu, scoring with his first touch for the club in a Sheffield derby. Kevin Pressman also springs to mind, Martin Hodge missed his first game in over 4 years and he had an absolute blinder on his debut at Southampton. .
