Iorfa and Thorniley as a defensive partnership. Leave the fullbacks as they are, as they have been the most consistent players in the last month or so. If anyone deserves dropping from the defence, it's Hector, but he shouldn't be dispensed with too quickly. I think I'd try Arrons playing off Fletcher, in place of FF. trask43 Posted February 17, 2019 Share Posted February 17, 2019 I'd go westwood iorfa lees thorniley lazaar aarons hutch bannan reach fletch joao Slightly harsh on the likes of palmer and fox but the new lads need a chance, we win they can stay in again for brentford and maybe the derby they dont show much then let the old ones come back in. Hector has to be dropped after rotherham game he was unbelievably bad. Go with the two big lads up top and try and get some balls in from wide areas with the new full backs. Jon Newsome Posted February 17, 2019 Share Posted February 17, 2019 How anyone can pick bombscare Hector over Thorniley after that yesterday is beyond me, Thorniley and Lees/Iorfa for me next week, Hector makes mistake after mistake week in week out but he's a fans favourite who went to Chelsea so nobody will moan about it. I agree with the op Not saying it should be what we pick. But if I had to put my money on Bruce picking my line up or the op's line up I know where my money is going. Reach just becomes a peripheral figure on the wing, and for me his best games and all his goals have been when he's played centrally where he can get more involved. plus dropping Bannan will allow the team more freedom of not having to pass to him all the fecking time. I'd bring Matias back in to the team, not sure why he's been dropped, but he's better on the left than Reach and at least tries to get behind teams. Dropping Palmer is very harsh because he's in the best form of his Wednesday career, but he's now vying for a place with Iorfa who needs game time. The op team is not far off me if Bruce sticks with 442 Play Joao with Fletcher Personally I don’t think we will improve until he changes the system.
