Are we mathematically safe?

With almost a third of the season remaining, I doubt it.

The bottom three are absolute doggo and in worse shape.  Let's not whip up a faux froth.

Thanks. I've been waiting for this thread. lol

We're definitely going to make the play-offs.

We've got a good chance of making the play-offs.

We might make the play-offs - it's good to dream.

We'll definitely make top 10.

We could make top 10, definitely top half.

We'll definitely make top half.

...

...

...

Are we safe from relegation?

No. Could we have been safe and within 2 points of the play-offs if we had won rather than drawn the last three games. Yes.  No.

Fixed it for you. The extra 6 points would still have us 4 points away from the play-offs...and not mathematically safe.

We can’t go down, for the same reason that we can’t make the playoffs.

There are too many teams between us and relegation. Just as all the teams between us and sixth can’t lose every game, all the teams below us can’t win every game.

Oh. Ipswich and Bolton are poo too. Proper poo .

I think I read the other day that the EFL want Birmingham deducted 12 points for breaching FFP rules and Brum have said they will push to get other teams punished too?

Lets hope we’re not one of those teams as I don’t fancy us drawing our way out of trouble

No they can't.

Yes they can...Rotherham can get 68 points which is 5 more than Norwich currently have

even allowing for games between the top few where at least one of them must get points, a few draws between them would allow Rotherham to Mathematically win the league

We are 12 points above the bottom 3 as we sit on 41 points.

Having seen all of our matches against those sides there is absolutely no chance of them catching us, they simply do not have any quality at all in those sides.

Rotherham for example all work hard for one another but they don’t have 1 good player in their side.

45 points will easily be enough to stay up this season.
