Helan was garbage We've never replaced Hirst, Waddle, Sheridan, Palmer(Carlton), etc. Even after that we've not replaced Whelan, Brunt, Antonio etc. We've got a poor side, people need to realise this. Helan was garbage Prefer Venanco to Hector A solid defender good organiser and rarely gave the ball away. Helan,s pace gave us an outlet and got us forward quickly. Had we spent the £4m on Knockaert instead of Abdi then it would have been a different story for us. Problem is...Wallace represented far better value for money than Reach with only a marginal upgrade, and Boyd has been a total waste of skin. We haven't "effectively" replaced. None of Lees, Hutch, Bannan or Forestieri look as good as they did. Since the playoff final you can only really make a case for Hector and Reach as players who have actually added anything to that team. The transfer dealings of this club since that day have been a complete disaster. Poor decision after poor decision.
