New dead ball specialist/s needed

So, is it who delivers it or attacks it? Not sure Reda was a "deliverer"!

I would agree.

I think it's almost pointless us being awarded a corner.

And don't get me started on the 5 yard sideways freekick....

(cue some statto proving me wrong)

Just to clarify Reda and Miguel Liere were great at scoring from set pieces.

Yes, we do not possess players with that ability but imo we are not maximising the opportunity with Bannan taking nearly all the corners and free kicks.

We need to mix it up a bit.

Surely fox, boyd, reach, FF should be taking corners. Shouldnt they?

Fox. Won’t be over the half way line. Boyd can’t cross the road. Reach maybe but like him around the edge of the box for loose balls. FF never consistently delivered.

As said aid would be nice to have someone who can really deliver at dead balls

Joey is the best corner taker at the club currently - by some distance.

Thats genuine, too, just in case anyone thinks otherwise.

Yes, our set-pieces leave a lot to be desired at times.

Can we have a moving ball specialist too?

My favourite is the specialist that is good at putting the ball over the line in front of the netted area behind the goal keeper.

Laazar is meant to be good at set pieces, I'm hoping that he starts taking them once he starts playing.

Is that the thing they call a 'goal scorer' ?

I heard of one of those once.

He is as well.

Just a shame hes really not good enough to start so we don't see the benefit.

I don't think our players would get on the end of any good deliveries anyway.

Found it interesting at Chelsea when we were awarded the non penalty that Bannan was preparing to take it when Fletcher who has scored all the pens he has taken for us and also Scotland
