Before he arrived we’d be asking him to sort out our defence, and then try and sign better attacking players in the summer. I am not overly worried at the moment, he will see who he wants to keep from our squad, once this has been done I expect to see the new guy's get a run out, there's no rush we're not going anywhere this Season. trev Posted February 13, 2019 Share Posted February 13, 2019 Any supporter with any sense can see what Bruce is doing. He is doing things properly and letting every player get some game time to prove a point and earn his shirt. He knows we are not going anywhere this season and it's effectively a prolonged pre-season for him. I actually trust he has the football knowledge to sort out the squad, he will know who he wants to keep already. There will be a few he's unsure of and there will be others who are done here. But he has to give them time to play, he has to be liked and respected by the squad and by sticking to his word he will gain the players respect. We will see his preffered team in a few games time, hopefully be this time next season we will be playing like a team, with a plan. Our squad is stale and is in desperate need of freshening up. It’s a culmination of 2 failed play off campaigns and hoarding players. I also think our players are not as good as what we think they are. It needs a clear out in the summer and we also need to sell some players as well.
