Wevreached those play-offs with Bannan playing an absolute pivotal role.

Marvellous player.

We were 3 x better when he moved back centrally last night. I’m glad it took Bruce half a game to spot that.

The problem is that we still weren’t good enough and some of that is down to Bannan.

Bruce now needs to quickly suss out the best system and position for him .

Judging by his press statement “Never Again” it looks like he already has.

It might be centrally but it ain’t in a two man midfield with Hutch.

Just hope Bruce realises before the derby

All about opinions.

Mine is the opposite. A two man midfield with two proper wide players every day for me.

It is indeed but you should listen to Frank Lampard and Steve Gerard talking about playing in a two man central midfield for England. They would come up against teams playing three in there and just get over run.

Our two are even even more likely to get over run as we just don’t have the physicality and athleticism to do it.

Despair at some of our fans sometimes. The lad has been a good servant to this club and gives his all every game. I've said it before but our fanbase is toxic at the minute.

Disagree , bannan is a decent player but he’s stale , like the rest of the squad . He’s also an attacking midfielder who passes backwards and can’t score . We are so bad going forward it’s unreal.

Bannan is at his best when he's in the final third. The way we set up at the moment seems to result in Bannan from being as far away from the area of the pitch where we need him. The midfield balance needs to change to get him and keep him further forward.

We haven't got proper wing backs..we haven't got proper wingers.

That's why we've had managers and countless on here making Frankenstein teams and formations.

The deficiencies have been glaringly obvious for a long time FFS.

Bannan at centre mid?... I know SB has said he fancies him there but he hasn't got the muscle men around him to hold the pivot.

This is the reason nobody can agree on here... we've spent on a bunch of liquorice all-sorts.

You're on the right lines...Holmowl will be hard at it.... I've done a squad already.

I understand,

I'm on the periphery ..

I would however  like Peter Fox's Glacier mints in Goal ,

And Brian Joicey Fruits at least on the bench

Give me a ring if you need back up if Holmowl welshes.........

So you disagree that he's been a good servant to the club? He's an attacking midfielder being asked to play in a deeper role than suits him. It might also help if we actually had a few decent players in front of him or down the sides for him to aim at.
