We’ll do well to get 28,000 £34 7 minutes ago, nilsson said: Cant see it. You’re expecting 15,000 POTGers paying those prices for a Monday night game? 15k? This is not the 90’s, our capacity isn’t 39k anymore. Including away fans there’ll be about 32k made available and they’ll all go

We've had around 5,000 in previous seasons though I guess it's less this season. Probably somewhere between 3 and 4,000. 20,000 season ticket holders, 4kish members, 2,500 blunts = around 26,000 Can't see it being a sell out, maybe 30,000 at most. markowl
https://www.sufc.co.uk/news/2019/february/wednesday-away-tickets/ So not £59 then. More pigonomics.

We often make a big deal of Wednesday going in home ends, so if we can't sell the seats for a home derby match, we shouldn't be surprised if a few pigs want them. Best way to keep them out is for Wednesday to sell out before general sale.

We wont have sold anything like that this year after the gold and silver membership saga. Ash is trying to spin it like the club do when they say ‘tickets start from £34’. Unless you’ve already forked out £80 or £50 for a membership, it’s £39, £42 or £46 a ticket. Even for a derby game, that’s a scandalous price to watch a team that are 16th in the championship

latemodelchild
Been hearing this rumour for a while now. Just goes to prove a lie can travel round the world before the truth has got its boots on. I don't think we'll sell out for this one. It's live on TV, Monday night and we're crap. Unless we go on some unbelievable type of run and they are plummeting, I doubt we'll get many walk ups. Even though its only Cat B the prices are still scandalous. At 30 quid anywhere in the ground we might have had a chance. As it is we'll have to take the flack they'll give us about not selling out. Cheers.
Yoshihiro Sunbeam
Anybody who thinks this is a good idea needs to have a long, hard look at themselves. Exploitation of fans, regardless of who they support has to stop. If we are happy to charge others £59 we can have no complaints if the other twenty three teams charge us £60 next season.
