Lord Snooty
"Forestieri showed glimpses, he’s missed a few chances but if we keep him fit and keep him right he’s a very good player. He’s been out a while and it was a concern, but on the 60 minute mark he actually got brighter and the longer it went on I thought 'if anyone is going to find a little bit of magic it’s him'. Typical Fernando rather than tire I think it went the other way, he looked to get fresher! It’s worry he could nick his hamstring. But thankfully he’s ok." 4
Bukta
You can tell that Bruce rates FF. He will get the best out of him.
S36 OWL
Bruce is a breath of fresh air after our last two managers.
MysticOwl
Fessi is a bit rusty in front of goal Some WD40 will do the trick...
bigash_swfc
A trait of a good manager. Coming in and rather than dividing the team, he's bringing them together.

gurujuan
He could easily have had five or six. The thing is, Bruce played him the right areas, not just stuck out on the left His finishing was a bit rusty, but it’s a long time since I’ve seen a Wednesday striker get in so many goal scoring positions. Fletcher though, is not the right partner Edited February 2, 2019 by gurujuan
Past Member
Hopefully Bruce will have faith in our better footballers & get the best out of FF & Joao. And the major FF doubters: @lordsnotty @Holmowl @OWLSTALK Will stop bleating about the team being better with the likes of Nuhiu in it. Anyone experienced in the Englush game, especially Championship will rate him. On his day he is one of the best in the league. Just needs an arm around him and make him feel loved. owler66
FF is a player who needs an arm around him Big Ron was brilliant at that, Steve Bruce gets it as well

Only my opinion, but I think Fletcher’s style holds us back.
NYCOWL
Despite how rusty he looks I thought he was a real threat. Still a top player on his day.
vulva
Old school man management. To get the best out of FF you tell him he’s the best player in Europe. Ego footballer.

NYCOWL
I don’t know that’s it’s old school per se. But despite the advances in physical conditioning football is often still played in the head. Man management.

You couldnt make this stuff up. In our 2 play off seasons, FF played a lot was our top scorer. When he didn't play a great deal; we fell way short. No evidence for Fletcher being our best forward.
Adem Poric
Yup. Feed that ego. We all know how upset he was by someone getting paid more than him. Tell him he's the best player in the league and he'll respond.
