Really says a lot that we still pretty much rely on Westwood, Lees, Bannan, Hutchinson and FF Theres probably only Reach that has consistently achieved the ‘relied upon’ status... It wasn't me but there is an awful lot of looking backwards on here when there is now a lot to look forward to. Lots of laying all the blame on Jos for where we are, how many more points we would have had etc etc. No one knows. For me, the whole club has had a rocket or a wake up since Christmas and it's very easy to lay it all on Jos door now he's the only one that's gone. It makes us all feel better. We still don't know the full story and Chansiri did enough to suggest at the forum there were plenty of issues with playing staff before Jos arrived. There were plenty other problems at the club before he arrived too. Let's move on, we've got some decent players, a top manager and Westwood is doing the business again. Well done Westwood, so glad you’re still at the club Despite not rating either Palmer or Fox particularly highly, they have figured in a defence that over the last few years hasn't been that bad. Taking this into account I never thought our defence was as bad as the first half of the season suggested it was? And since Westwood's return we've seen why our defence has been decent by and large for a while. The organisation and confidence he gives to the backline is there for all to see. Dawson may turn out to be a good keeper but to stand a decent chance of competing at the Top End of this league you need an experienced keeper. The only question mark over Westwood is his fitness record and I suspect this will be the deciding factor on whether we offer him a new contract or not?
