Myself I do not expect a quick fix it , Have we sold the ground ? How much is the ground worth ? How much has Bruce been allowed to spend ,The thing I want to come out of this FFP ,For me we have to change our transfer policy ,Start now by recruiting young players with a transfer sell on value , Some of you on here know more about the young lads coming through ,How many are within a year or two coming through .The steel city blues video Bert McGee said after we went back to  Division 1  ,We will continue to grow our own marrows . We have not really developed our young lads for a long long  time ,Lets hope it changes .Be patient  it will come but ,When we go up lets have a young team that can only get better .

To be fair we have made massive strides with the youth programme. Our under 18's won the double and more recently we had the likes of Matt Penney and one or two others knocking on the door.

It's going to take time but we are heading in the right direction with the youth programme:

We have, but if rumours are to be believed, our transfer policy remains the same. Out of the 16 players we’ve been rumoured to have an interest in, only one is under 25. This has to change

Agreed, however of the 5 or 6 or players SB says he wants to bring in I suspect 2 or 3 of them will be young loanees from Premiership clubs.

If we’ve now got money to spend again I’d really like us to sign a young and highly rated player that will entertain the fans and increase in value. Like Sergio Cordova or of a similar type

This is what I’d love to see too, it’s been a while since we had a young player others are jealous that we’ve got. Hopefully Bruce can find a player under 22 who’s career is on the up.

I would be happy with that, but that might imply that only 2 or 3 will fall in the older age bracket. So these links with experienced players, in all areas, will hopefully be wide of the mark. We need a couple of experienced centre backs, but that’s about it, the rest should be young legs. With Hutchinson, Lee and Bannan, we already have plenty of experience in midfield. Ditto up front

Go get Kollali SB looks a player. Plus claims dirty Leeds are in as well.Be great to rub their noses in at moment.

Looks like dirty Leeds might be getting some money to re-invest.......

Spurs have made a £10m offer for Leeds United’s teenage winger Jack Clarke as Mauricio Pochettino looks to revamp his squad ahead of next season.

I do remember Pleat being cautioned for making illegal approaches to try and get a head.

LOL , remember about 20 of us being in Schiphol airport the day after the Sparta Rotterdam pre season friendly and someone bought a copy of the News Of The World.

Emblazoned across the front page was the headline " Premier League manager in kerb crawl shocker"! ........... Guess who appeared at that very minute!

Still under the influence of some of the local hospitality one of the gang confronted him with the paper to which he replied ....... "I'm just flying to Italy to sign Paulo Di Cannio"!

Happy days

Can’t even be bothered to watch a 7 minute highlight video. Way too many highlights.

There's a woman at work who highlights every word in her emails, usually with different colours for each section.

I've tried to tell her that highlighting everything is akin to highlighting nothing, but she didn't seem to get it.

A good firm hand across her face should do the trick

Bidwell was a decent player, but the last couple of season’s, he’s been pretty average A move might just kick start his career Had hoped we’d bring in a young flyer, perhaps on loan, for the left back role There are some outstanding young left backs in the Premier League, who might be available for loan

One solid free and one good young in loan should do the trick.

Bidwell on a free would seem a smart get for any top half Championship team. On a free and even if he wasn't a starter would be good backup. As you say he's stalled recently, but worst case scenario is you gain an average Champ player IMO.
