Wasn't denying it! But you are clearly smoking spice after your Bidwell comment!

I was merely repeating what we'd been told this morning by others here. I fell into the trap of believing what I'd read, more fool me.

Brentford are on the verge of signing Barnsley’s Ethan Pinnock, according to Sky Sports News transfer centre [2/7, 12:40 p.m.].

It is suggested that the defender is due to undergo a medical after the clubs agreed a £3m fee.

The player training with us is in Portugal is Martin Chrien. From Benfica spent last year on loan at Santa Clara in the Azores

We would be paying a fee for him if that's correct, he's contracted until 2022

So dingles have sold all 3 of their keeper and best centre backs. Hilarious considering they've only got about £5M for them combined.

I get that Barnsley do well from developing and selling players, but breaking up a promotion winning team before a ball is kicked the the championship is s risk, potentially lose momentum from promotion.

They've sold 3 or 4 already?

Amazed that's still up, considering he was acquitted when CCTV proved they'd made the whole thing up.

Wish we were looking at him to be honest, fantastic talent, who has put a significant amount of effort in to turning his life around. What Allardyce did to him at West Ham was disgusting...

Wonder what the coaching staff at Man Utd, Birmingham, QPR, Cardiff, Lazio, Atlas (yeah, the team in Mexico) and Ostersund did to him then. Other than figure out he's an undoubtedly talented player but attitude wise is an absolute melt.

I don't think there's been any suggestion his attitude has been a problem from QPR onwards has there? he's struggled with injuries, and the language barrier was a problem at Lazio, which is hardly uncommon with English footballers abroad.

Lots of problems

"His next destination was Lazio, where he was unable to break into the first team and was criticised by coach Stefano Pioli for a lack of professionalism in training and an unwillingness to learn Italian"

Then at Ostersunds:

Selective quoting in that article, his contract was up
https://www.svt.se/sport/allsvenskan/morrison-lamnar-ostersund-ett-avslutat-kapitel?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app

"According to Niclas Lidström, the club has been happy with Morrison and he, in turn, has enjoyed his surroundings. The reason why there will be no extension will have to do with all the injuries that Morrison has had and the salary.

- He has been injured a lot, which has been difficult for the club and for himself. He couldn't do himself justice, says Niclas Lidström."

Even more reason for him to join the blunts and drain their dwindling cash whilst laid on the treatment table. We've had our share of that, time they felt the pain too.

And attitude wise, there are so many quotes from former managers and coaches about his lack of professionalism and off-field issues that it's hard not to believe it has a basis in reality. He's been at so many clubs, both permanently and on loan and not stayed at most of them for more than 6 months. There is a reason why.
