gurujuan
Been saying we should get shot, for a while now Would be better if it were a permanent and we could recoup some of the money we paid out
oldishowl
He has looked miles away in the short time he has had on the pitch since coming back. To be expected given length of time out and he needs to be starting games to get back to full match fitness. Not sure we can give him the starts he requires

Fletcher amd Nuhiu are our centre forwards, the others are there to compliment and add something different Winnall won’t retain possession like those 2. You can’t just pick the 2 that score the most, you need different attributes ftom your forwards and getting rid of Nuhiu instead of Winnall would leave us well short should Fletcher get injured again No brainier It's that simple

He couldn't hold his bladder. Anthony Kiedis made a song about Dave. His job description is Striker Or Forward not holding midfielder. I'd have Winnall every day over comedy Dave.

If he isn’t in the plans try and see if we can move him on for a fee to help our financial situation. A player of Winnall's level that as not yet proved his fitness & sharpness after 9 months out of the game isn't going to command a fee. If he isn't in our plans the only way we'll get a fee for him is send him out on loan for the rest of the season & sell him in the summer if he proves himself. I know you are right but just thinking which club would be daft enough to take Nuihu on loan
Ray Von shabba
As expected, it's turned into a batter Atty thread.......sad. Going back to the subject of Winnall, never thought he got a fair run and would like to see him given a chance in the new regime. Let's face it, we're hardly prolific in front of goal with any combination we play.

Sonny
Was such a shame that he got injured last year when he was scoring and so had some transfer value. Things might have been easier FFP wise now. Hopefully this just pushes it all back a year and we can get some decent money for him in the summer. Hack-Abusi
IF its a loan move for him to get fit and games under his belt then fair enough ... I think there's a player in there that once fully fit and scoring, could be a good asset for us
farlego
We should keep him and atlas give him some game time even if it is from the bench. People say we are over run with strikers but are we reallY? Given we have either Fletcher or Dave as the target man and we can't play with 1 up front then who will get the goals? Hooper - may never see him in a Wednesday shirt again Lucas - unpredictable as to wether he will actually turn up and be bothered FF - recently injury prone and scoring record says he is better not being the main striker partner MM- ? gurujuan
Bruce was said to be targeting a new striker, so hopefully we have one lined up, thus we feel we are able to let Winnall leave

asteener1867
How many goals did Winnal get for both us and Derby before he broke his leg....I reckon it was 10 in about 30 appearances...sub and starting 11.. How does that compare to our other strikers? I dunno whether we have given him a proper chance yet
Maxine
I hope this isn't true as we could really do with a goal scorer.
