BIG D
Do you think he was expecting to score a perfect hat-trick in a 4-3 victory?

roundhayowl
Gave away a daft pen and was a non-event other than that - shame.
victorturner
Embarrassing to see his lack of calm tackling exposed on national TV. Mind you, Chelsea players clearly very fast.

ZicoSterland2
Tough game for all the Owls. The gulf is massive. End of day they will all move on. Sure Sam wont lose too much sleep and will be up for the Ipswich game.

Two of his tackles above the ankle were not just a matter for shock to Lawrenson. However, as I said, Chelsea players are fast though and have got rid when the tackle arrives. Pulixifer
Sam's like a dog in heat. Studs on the bridge of the foot is nasty and a rightly forbidden. Not once but twice. Deliberately reckless and cost us the match before it even go going.
TrickyTrev
He got to do something he never thought he’d do again when he retired at 21 years old and that’s play at Stamford Bridge. All his family and friends were in the crowd to see him play. I’d say regardless of result today was always going to be a memorable occasion for Sam, all those close to him and all thosr who helped him rebuild his career.
Blatter
Expected to lose Didn’t expect to lose without having a good go at them Joao wasted on the bench for most of that game. Disappointed.

Badger57
I know we miss him when he doesn't play but his rashness is not suitable in the modern game. Defensive midfielders win the ball intercepting not going to ground.

The real waste is not that he wasn't played for longer, but that he has what appears to be very good technical ability marred by laziness and/or a poor attitude.
