Should have been on instead of Nuihu. At least he has the potential to score goals. He did it before and needs match fitness.

This. fizz Nuhiu, excuse the language

Disagree. Nuhiu is the only direct replacement for Fletcher if we want to play in a similar way. Also think Winnall has looked awful since he came back....granted he was out for a long time but even so, he’s looked crap!

That's the whole problem in my opinion. We always play the same way. One lone striker with no midfield support since we lost Lee and no pacy wingers to get crosses in. Whether it's Fletcher,Nuhiu,Winnal,Joao or Rhodes as target men they need runners going for nod downs.

We don't have them.

Wrong tactic.

Winnall has done nothing and not even looked liked scoring

Winnall did something that caught my eye in one game... I can't remember which....he scored a goal with very little backlift but it was right in the corner... very much like Hooper.

I'd persist with him.

Winnall has had a serious injury and will probably need a run of starts to hit some form. Understandable.

Many seem to think he can't play the lone role.

Though he had played that for Barnsley and he was scoring for fun when we signed him

I'm not saying he's the answer by any means.

But he's mobile and a grafter.

Two things that are useful in this division . IMO.

Needs to be the main man, and never will be for us...his impact here will always be limited due to that

To be fair I see your point. However, if we are leading then Nuhiu is the best choice as he defends from the front better than anyone. Not sure exactly what Winnall offers yet. No pace, poor in air and can only play in a 4-4-2, a formation which I LOATHE as it generally doesn’t work in modern football.

Acatually got options now - Joao, Fessi, Dave and Matias all attacking options on the bench.  No room for another forward but his chance will come in a different match.

Got to bode well overall.
