Yep it wasn’t just what they said, which was ridiculous.  But the fact there were 3 pundits in the studio, plus a co-commentator, non of which had any connection to Wednesday OR the Championship or lower leagues. 

 

So I thought, Okay they’ve got the daughter of an ex-Wednesday boss to present the show and represent us. Nope, she just facilitated the ignorance. 

 

I really hope the message gets to the BBC that their coverage of the match was very poor and not what I expect from my licence fee

Yeah, in the grand scheme of things we are. But given they put us on their main TV channel at 6pm on a Sunday, you’d think they’d treat us with a little more relevance...for 90 minutes at least.

Personally I don’t have a chip on my shoulder nor do I expect other people to have over such a trivial matter. You have to ask why would some people want to try and stir the pot over such a thing?

BBC were desperate for a Chelsea victory, there's only Man U and City left out of big clubs, Chelsea going out would have ment them having to cover a tie which wouldn't attract a big audience.

She's been a part of their FA Cup coverage for the last couple of years and as such isn't the issue. She is also very good at it.
