I’m with you on the half and half scarves. But tin foil FA cups are basically part of the ‘tradition of the cup’

(If that sort of thing floats your boat)

This gets bandied around quite often on this site.

Anyone who is planning on wearing a half and half scarf, hat, rosette, etc. and/or carrying a kitchen foil covered cardboard copy of the FA Cup should consider the meaning of the word very carefully.

:picnic:

It should be common law that anyone wearing or carrying said items is allowed to be shot

Think shooting is perhaps over the top , perhaps a public flogging then thrown in to jail without chance of parole would be more fitting of the crime

You come across as an over zealous little Hitler type to me !

Ah, but one thing and one thing only now truly denotes ‘tinpot’ in the modern era, to the extent that it really should be the official dictionary definition:

goal music.

Unfortunately its just a sign of the times. The money men trying to take the tribal passion out of football and replace it with something more "marketable".

I’ve got some tosspots. FACT.

No seriously, I have. Use them for depositing bait, using my pole, when fishing.

Can't imagine Chelsea are thinking, We'll make a fortune today if we had some half and half scarfs done.

I’ve got a half and half scarf from when we played the pigs. White stripes and “Sheffield” bit from theirs, and blue stripes and “Wednesday” from our half.

Possibly.
