Chelsea - V - Wednesday FA Cup OMDT

Recommended Posts

Worked hard, but that's all we can take from that. Quite obvious  how slow, both physically and mentally we are.

At least it's a new dawn next week and we at least have a manager.

That wasn't in my top 5 Wednesday matches as a spectacle.

We haven’t been out attacking poor championship teams.  I am not st all surprised we didn’t go out and attack Chelski.

I see no point in singling out our players when they’ve all followed the plan to the letter. It’s just been the wrong plan.

Yup. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come, served another season of negative tactics

We've given them nothing to think about.

No attacking intent whatsoever..their defence might have been flapping a bit with Joao running at them from the start.

Final whistle.

Phew pleased that’s over. Result wise could have been a lot worse and score line isn’t to embarrassing but was a very disappointing performance. Looking forward to seeing what Bruce can do with these players.

Disappointed with the lack of ambition but not the effort. We can all see we need fresh ideas and a rebuild. Please somebody inject some pace into the squad and cut out the negative playing culture.

spot on pal

flipping hell has there ever been a more talked about and dragged out boring story as this Hudson-Odoi transfer testicles? Does anybody care? It's a Chelsea reserve player at the end of the day.

If we would have attacked this Chelsea team from the off it would have probably have been six or seven.

Teams like Bournemouth do this all the time and they normally end up with a hiding.

We just have to unfortunately accept that this is our level at the moment and the top teams and players in the premier league are streets ahead.

We had one shot at it, and nothing to lose. We should’ve gone for it and risked the hiding.

We made it easy for them.

Its as if we gave in before the ball was even kicked.

I don't think Chelsea's 2nd team were at their best far from it.

Absolutely nailed on there. The worrying thing right now is that the gap between the Premier League and ourselves is just going to get wider and wider till it gets to a point where it will be virtually impossible to close it.WTF:.
